Autumn

Autumn leaves falling all around
A pile of them form a mound
Leaving me to collapse on them
One leaf is a precious gem
I rake up all the leaves you see
Just to be jumped on by you and me
As we swim through the ocean of brown
We are slowly falling down
Drowning in the sea of leaves
That softly falls on us in heaves
They fly all around instead of in their den
Only for me to sweep them up again
